High School Student Personal Accountability Workshop

This event is for high school students and their parents.  Communicating, connecting with and motivating todays’ youth can be challenging.  My 13 years  of experience as a college basketball coach in a high-pressure environment gave me a great understanding of what youth go through, how they think, and feel as it pertains to where and  how they will fit into society. They are wondering what their true purpose in life is.

Transitional life skills, being seen and heard, having a sense of belonging, an emotional  connection and confidence are what youth are lacking. This creates difficulty with overcoming  obstacles, solving problems, discovering visions, believing in themselves, and achieving goals.

This workshop helps them develop personal accountability.  This is where everything starts.  They learn how to build their personal brand of who they want to be as a person, not what they want to be, and how they want to be viewed in society.   They also learn how to create their own slogan as well as manage it.   This includes self-discipline, self-confidence, self-respect, peer pressure, social media and the benefits of a college degree.

They will gain an understand of how to stay connected to the person on the inside while managing that person on the  outside. The "Public Eye Person."  ​Just as they need to work on their curriculum skills, they also need to work on life skills.​ This workshop helps them think beyond their current circumstances to better focus on their future.
